Kalakaar

Kalakaar invites authors whose stories transcend the pages and come alive on the silver screen. Anything that can be written or thought of can be filmed. They say a picture is worth a thousand words then a film is worth a thousand times more. If you are an author whose novels are films, Kalakaar is where you should publicly embrace the magic of storytelling through film, where every frame speaks volumes. Join us in celebrating the fusion of literature and cinema at Kalakaar, the perfect platform for authors whose narratives unfold on the captivating canvas of the big screen.

Rules and Regulations:

1. A team can only have a maximum of 10 participants.
2. All the participants must be from the same college.
3. Participants must present a physical college ID card and PID to participate in the event.
4. The movie could be shot anywhere.
5. Theme for the competition is "Journey".
6. No individual can be a member of more than 1 team.
7. The movie should be within the time limit of 5-10 minutes.
8. The movie shouldn’t have any offensive/explicit/vulgar language or scenarios.
9. The movie can be shot on any camera and should have a minimum quality of 720p and a maximum of 1080p.
10. The movie must be submitted to the organisers before the day of the event.
11. Permitted languages are English, Kannada, Tulu and Hindi.
12. The decision of the judges will be final.
