Dive into a vibrant tapestry of trivia at Melas, the quiz event where minds meet mayhem! Sharpen your quills and dust off your brain cells as we weave through a kaleidoscope of categories namely music, entertainment, literature, arts, and sports.

Event Details:

Round 1 & 2:

1. Each question in prelims carries 1 mark.
2. Half marks will be provided for partial answers.
3. Questions that have 2 parts in their answers will receive half marks for each part being correct.
4. The last 5 questions are tiebreakers.
5. There will be no negative marking.
6. Blocks are allowed.
7. Participants will have a minute to answer each question.
8. The sum of the scores from both the rounds will be carried over to the next round after getting multiplied by 2, and that will be the starting point for the third round.

Round 3:

1. Each question carries 20 points.
2. 10 marks will be provided for partial answers.
3. Questions that have 2 parts in their answers will receive 10 marks for each part being correct.
4. Participants will have 1 minute to answer each question.
5. Pounce & Torpedo are allowed.
6. Passing questions will carry 10 points.

Rules and Regulations:

1. A team must consist of 3 members.
2. All the participants must be from the same college.
3. Participants must present a physical college ID card and PID to participate in the event.
4. Registrations must be done through the website, there will be no on-spot registrations.
5. The number of questions in each round will be decided based on the number of participating teams.
6. The number of teams qualifying for the subsequent rounds will be decided based on the number of participating teams.
7. The rules for block, pounce, and torpedo will be explained before the commencement of the quiz.
8. The use of electronic gadgets is not allowed.
9. Any sort of malpractice will lead to immediate disqualification.
10. The decisions of the judges and organisers will be final.

Judging Criteria:

1. The team with the highest score wins.
