Perplex

Do you know a little more biology than "Mitochondria is the power-house of the cell" and a little more chemistry than "A mole is equal to 6.022*10^23 atoms.". Then you are in for a treat with Perplex. Come push your knowledge, task handling capabilities, and time management skills to the limit with perplexity.

Event Details:

Round 1:

1. Quizzes and crossword puzzle comprises questions related to chemistry and biology.
2. The top 8 teams will be selected for the next round.

Round 2:

1. Small tasks related to basic lab instruments.
2. Based on the accuracy and performance of the task, 4 teams shall proceed to the next round.

Round 3:

1. A time-based round. Teams will be given a set of experiments to be completed at the earliest.
2. The team which completes all the given experiments first shall be the winner.

Rules and Regulations:

1. A team must consist of 2 members.
2. All the participants must be from the same college.
3. Participants must present a physical college ID card and PID to participate in the event.
4. Any number of teams can participate in preliminary round.
5. Follow the volunteers as they guide you.
6. Participants should carry all the stationary items for the first round.
7. Materials and procedures for all the experiments will be provided.
8. Lab equipment should be handled with care.
9. The decisions of the judges and organisers will be final.

Judging Criteria:

1. The top 8 teams scoring the highest points in round 1 will proceed to Round 2.
