Thinking Cap, a special event for NMAMIT's staff, tests knowledge and skills with quizzes, quick-fire rounds, memory challenges, and team games. It's a fun way to engage and win exciting prizes!
Event Details:
Round 1:
- An MCQ based round consisting of questions based on aptitude, general knowledge and visual puzzles.
- The participants will be provided with a timed quiz, which must be submitted online within the set time limit.
- A total of 20 participants with the maximum score will move to the second round.
Round 2:
Selected participants compete individually.
- Rapid Quiz:
- Around 10–15 questions will be put up on the projector.
- Participants who know the answer will have to raise their hands.
- The chance to answer will be given on first-come-first-serve basis. Whoever answers the most will be promoted to next round.
2. Memory Game:
- Around 20 items will be shown.
- The participants have to list it in the order shown.
- The participant with the most correct answers will get more points.
- 4 participants will be eliminated and the remaining 16 participants will be divided into 4 groups, with each group consisting of 4 participants.
3. 4 truths, 1 lie:
- One member of the group will tell 4 truths and 1 lie about themselves.
- The other members have to decide which sentence is the lie.
- Only 2 chances will be given to answer. The group which answers correctly will get points.
4. 20 questions:
- We will be telling the name of a thing or a person to one member of each group.
- The other members have to guess it by asking 20 yes or no questions.
- The team with the most points wins the game and takes home the cash prize.
Rules and Regulations:
- Individual participation.
- Participants must have their ID card in person to participate in the event.
- The decision of the organisers will be final.
Judging Criteria:
- In the first round, judgement will be based on most scores obtained in the objective quiz.
- In the second round, judgement will be based on accuracy, speed and teamwork.
