Event Details:

Round 1: Electro-puzzled

1. A crossword puzzle, consisting of technical terms related to electronics.
2. The teams should try to find the words in 20 minutes.
3. Top 5 teams that have found the highest number of words will go on to the next round.
4. In case of a tie, time taken to find the words will be considered as tie breaker.

Round 2: Debugged!

1. The selected teams will have to build two circuits (1 using simulation another using hardware components).

2. A circuit built using hardware components with errors in it and the desired waveform will be provided. The teams have to figure out the error and obtain
the desired waveform.

3. For simulation, the output of the circuit to be obtained will be provided. The teams have to design and build a circuit using simulation (LTSpice) and obtain the output.

4. The team which provides the desired output in the least time wins.

5. The maximum time duration for this round is 90 minutes.

Rules and Regulations:

1. A team must consist of 2 members.
2. All the participants must be from the same college.
3. All the team members are required to be present for both rounds.
4. Participants must present a physical college ID card and PID to participate in the event.
5. Use of the internet or any external reading material/textbook will be strictly prohibited.
6. Participants are expected to abide by the basic ethical norms and requirements of the event.
7. The decisions of the judges and organisers will be final.

Judging Criteria:

1. Participants will be judged based on the rounds by the organisers.
2. Judging criteria varies in each round.
3. In case of any complications the lecturer in charge would intervene to judge the qualifier round.
